Simon Lee Chao Fu 

Simon is one of the three co-founders of the Lion Rock Institute, a Hong Kong based think tank promoting free market based public policy solutions.  Simon, a seasoned communicator, served two veteran legislative councillors, took part in five electoral campaigns, hosted financial talk show, authored two books and three newspaper columns, last but not least, managed issues and publicity projects of different types.

Simon joined the Apple Daily in 2005 as editorial writer and person-in-charge of the op-ed page.  He founded “Apple Pie”, the free market editorial column for the paper, and coached young writers to join the battle of ideas.  Graduates of the Apple Pie now occupy key strategic positions in media and social advocacy. Starting from 2007, he hosted the financial program “MoneyCafe” in Cable TV.    

Simon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan, a Master of Social Science degree in law and public affairs from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a professional diploma in corporate communications and crisis management.
